Even if you jumped it and it's fine now, make sure that the battery cables have a tight connection. Sometimes a loose battery cable will do this, even if there's enough juice in the battery.

 

My car did the same thing after I left it parked all winter and didnt unhook it. New battery was replaced under warranty with no questions asked.

 

Yeah. No joke. I was just there a week ago. 115 degrees. LOL but i sure did have a good time on 6th street.

This thing maybe can help, it happen also to my Is350 twice and i called lexus service advisor about it. She told me that we have to push the engine start button quickly not like you are starting a honda S2000 that you have to push it longer. Further more she told me that if we push the engine starter button longer,it sends other info to the engine, not to start it. Before i thought its a battery problem but that after that advice it never happen again.

 

That displays the battery voltage. If the voltage is too high or too low, the display will flash.
