New Michelin Pilot Super Sports

^^Good point and I second this. I had not thought about tire pressures because the factory recommendation is so readily available (driver's door jamb). I have the Michelins on one Supra and the Bridgestones on the other. I have done many back to back comparisons and the Michelins are superior in every important respect (not saying the RE050A Pole Position is not a very good tire; it is, just not as good as the PS2s).

KJH, it happens in both regular and sport modes, and it's obviously more pronounced in sport. I agree about the Tire Rack article, and that is why I was so pumped about these tires. I've got a free alignment available, so I should probably take advantage of it. Thanks for the reminder! I'm going to call the guy right now. *** EDIT --> crap. The guy is out of the office until tomorrow morning, so I'll try again then.

The PSS is better than the PS2 (and every other tire) in every important respect. See the Tire Rack survey results here: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...ay.jsp?type=MP
But it might just the wrong setup on KW since I have no issue with PS2 on OEM wheels and suspensions.
I will try different suspension/alignment set up soon. If no go, I will switch back to BS RE11, had a lot of fun with RE01/11R before on my previous cars.

Hi all,
I had 245/35 fronts and 275/30 rears installed today on the stock rims (2009 IS F) and they fit perfectly. I've only driven it about 50 miles so far but these tires are much quieter than the stock Potenzas and the car seems to corner flatter too. For those of you who are also running the Super Sports, what tire pressure do you use? Mine are at 36 psi but I'm thinking of going to 40-42 psi.
