Default What car wash supplies does my F deserve?

My IS350 was wrapped so washing it consisted of wiping it down with a wet rag.

What are some of the best products out there to keep my new F looking like new? I've got the itch to go buy all brand new stuff.

Thanks!

Ditto, I use a lot of the same products. Check out detailersdomain.com He is a forum sponsor. Use code "Lexus" at checkout for 10% off for being a clublexus.com member.

BTW: What buckets are you guys using with your Grit Guards? Anyone using a Home Depot or Lowes bucket with a Grit Guard? There like $3 compared to $13 for the Grit Guard/Autogeek Buckets. Wondering if the Grit Guard will fit snug in those 5 gallon buckets.

I use all Meguiars products except tire shine. I like Black Magics aerosol tire shine better.

When it comes to the wheels, the SONAX works wonders. I haven't found one that cleans and takes out the brake dust as good as this product. As for the body of the F, there are a number of great vendors on the forum. Personally, I use the Blackfire products for the full detail (shampoo, clay, polish, compound) with the Turtle Wax liquid wax with the polisher or the P21S carnauba paste wax when I want to do it by hand. For those minor upkeep days when I just want to keep it looking clean, the Blackfire detailer or Turtle Wax synthetic detailer will do for me. Windows- I use the Invisible Glass aerosol spray, and it keeps the inside and out looking crystal clear. For the interior, I use the Lexol products.

Far from it actually. The guy that recommended the sponsor... He's on point. that sponsor, unlike most, really knows his shet. He also has many good threads on what to use B.
Wish I could wash my car. I miss the gigantic driveway in Bryant.

Stupid condo w/ HOA rules doesn't let me wash my car. I gotta take it off site.

I've had good luck with Zaino products. Easy to work with and the results are excellent.

mrsardar, check out http://www.detailedimage.com/SONAX-M...525/500-ml-S1/

If you know you're going to clean the rims and pretty much around the wheel well a lot, I'd opt for the 5 L. I go through plenty detailing my friends' cars, as well as relatives and my own, so it really is a better buy. But that botttle (just for the F), should last at least 6 applications doing all four wheels. Hope this helps!
