Don't do it! first off have them shut off at your local dealer, it should be free or next too it, second DON'T do it! third DON'T do it it is illegal, and the vehicle will fail inspection, and, you loose your high beam headlights, I don't care what any person says on this forum, drl bulbs are NOT EVEN CLOSE to the factory high beam bulbs as far as output and brightness goes. And when you need them you NEED them! NEVER, EVER, PUT FORM IN FRONT OF FUNCTION!!

also...when i said that the combo of the led drl's and the regular hid low beams(automatically angled up) were great....i mean that they are definitely better than average peoples brights. but not quite as good as our ISF brights. But to say they are "NOT EVEN CLOSE" isn't entirely true IMO

I agree. I swapped out my highbeams with LED. Even on dark roads my low beam and led combined with my fogs is good enough. If I need more light I also have a HID flashlight, but to each his own. I don't think its illegal to run LED because if it was Audi wouldn't put it as their DRL or the new Mercedes and Lexus.

i like the '11 lights in some ways, but in other ways i don't....it's kinda an audi thing....it does look great on all the newer IS models....but i really really love the look of my LED DRL's....i think a tad bit more than the built in led's on the new IS models. But i would be really happy either way.

Correct, you loose your Halogen HIGH BEAMS...
Not worth it in my opinion..
My DRL's are Turned Off and I have yellow DRL bulbs...
So when I NEED to throw the BRIGHTS ON it's a Mix of OEM HID & Yellow Love...
