Default Throttle Controller difference TESTED (Videos inside)

So people are debating all over the forum about whether a Linear Throttle System makes any difference in acceleration, etc...

So I tried to carry out a test as shown by the below videos. You guys be the judges.

Before blasting me for the video quality, I apologize for the shaking, it's difficult to hold my smartphone and shift at the same time. Enjoy, I look forward to your responses.

I think there's a pretty big difference since it changes the throttle body position physically. Try holding the throttle at 3k RPM and then change the settings one by one you can see the RPM increase with each setting increase.

I saw a sight difference but not enough to justify a $650 purchase

Im with you on this, I did indeed see a slight difference but it doesn't justify the cost....

Its hard to really tell from your videos...

Something like this needs to be tested at the same rpm's, same start on a stop watch(g-tech, ext)..

A 1/8 or 1/4 mile track would be even better to see if it indeed added and mph on the trap speed

i bet it make s huge difference driving around on the street but at full throttle there is no difference. WOT is WOT if you want to go fast put your foot to the floor!

I can't tell anything different from the video. I'll keep my $600 and just use a heavier foot if I need power.

No throttle controller will provide any useful benefit other than making the driver think his/her car is more powerful or responsive. As someone mentioned, WOT is WOT no matter how you get there (actual heavy foot or an electronic facsimile thereof). Sport mode does a more than adequate job of making me feel my car is more powerful. Save your money and take the family out for an evening of fun......

These videos proved that there is no difference when driving hard. You're at WOT on both videos, the LTS is not being used, not even when in SP3.
