Default 245/35/19 too stretched on 19x10?

Hey guys, I was just hoping a few of you can chime in on this. I just purchased a set of wheels that came with some Falken Fk-452. The rear wheel size is a 19x10 and I was just wondering if any of you daily drive a 245/35/19 on a 19x10 rear wheel. Any pics would be really really appreciated. Thanks guys for your help!

I've had that model of Falken stretched on a 9" wheel before and it was nothing crazy. I will say this: I had major sidewall issues though. I will never buy those tires again. All four proceeded to form huge bubbles on the inner sidewalls. Not good or safe.

haha, so it appears I may be flying off the side of the road. How about some 255/40/19 on a 19x10 rear??

You asked this because you already know it will be too stretched...

And I think 255/40/19 is too tall and might rub the top of liner when under full load?

At least 265 on 10" wheels IMO

Personally, I wouldn't do it. Not only are you sacrificing performance, you're also gambling with safety. Find the tires which properly fit the width of the rims.

stretching tires on an isf, that's one very interesting idea. not to mention 452 aren't anywhere with good traction

It would be a shame to put anything narrower than a 275/30R19 tire on a 19x10 wheel, and even that is too narrow IMO for a 10 inch rim. I hope you bought wheels with the proper offsets for the ISF. There are too many owners out there that bought wheels with too aggressive of offsets and had to put narrow rubber on them to avoid rubbing...looks ridiculous and performs poorly.

Yea, offsets are proper ( 30, 38) but I got them for a killer deal and tires were included so it looks like I might just be tossing the 245's ( or just doing a few donuts ). By the way, ive heard DJ sai was stretching his tires on the same wheel with his panda ISF... I tried contacting him about what size he was running but haven't heard from him since he sold his car : /

Thank you for the pic 96817isf, I hope others post some as well. By the looks of it, it doesn't seem to be too stretched even for a 10.5 but that's just my 2 cents...Anyone else here stretched a tad? I don't mind buying new tires, just kinda want to know.

It's a stretch, but it's not anything out of the ordinary, as 96817isf illustrated. People stretch Falkens all the time. Not sure if the wheels you got were originally on the F, but keep in mind that usually this is done to clear fenders for aggressive setups. So if you go with a wider tire, it might stick out of the wheel well, which is bad for function and form.

Those are not proper offsets for the ISF. You may be able to fit narrow tires on them without rubbing, but they are too aggressive for running tires wide enough to improve on the stock grip. What width are the front wheels? With those offsets, you could probably run 245s front and 275 or 285s rear with trimming.

96817, are you ever going to lower your car? Your front is about to lift off like a space shuttle!
