Look at the brightside, it couldve been worst and/or totaled. Your damage isn't too bad. You will be back in action in no time. Just sucks that it happened though. Glad you and your wife are safe.

Sux about the accident. Got to think positively that you and your wife didn't get physical hurt more and that your daughter wasn't in the vehicle. Glad to hear a fellow F owner will be ok, but oh my that picture of your F made my heart break, cause it looks just like mine. I sent you Pm let me know if I could help.

Sorry to hear about your accident, but I'm glad you're okay. Your car will be taken care of with insurance I'm sure.

Doh! I'm sorry to hear about that man, I drive up and down there routinely and have always worried about something like this happening. I'm glad to hear everyone is ok though...

I've always brought my F to B-Line over in San Jose. They mainly deal with BMW/MB, but it's always been a very friendly atmosphere nonetheless. They've done awesome work for me in the past.

Thank goodness you're alright. The damage to your car is minimal to what could have been. It is an ugly sight, but the fact that you and your wife are fine is what matters most. Hopefully the repairs won't take that long.

I know the feeling. FWIW, a great body shop will make it like a brand new show car when you get it back.

glad you're ok, it's a shame that it happened but it could always be worse.

Doh. That's painful. Sorry to hear about it. At least you don't have mods on it yet! Hope everything works out and you get it back to original form asap.

It's a sickening feeling when you see the impending impact and have no time to react. Glad you and your wife are ok! Maybe throw up some pics when the F is put back "right".

Good that you are okay, ISF will be fixed. Make sure that there is no frame damage though

F owners around the world shed a tear for u that day... .... very glad u 'n' your family are safe...

i keep road flares in my F just in case... my wife and i got rear ended at a low speed awhile back.. pretty minor, easy fix... then about 5 min later... dude in chevy truck wasn't paying any attention slammed into our already damaged cars... it was like watching 'americas dumbest drivers'.... what coulda been a trip to a body shop turned out to be a trip to the junk yard ... now... anytime i pull over on the freeway or help someone thats pulled over.. i spark a few flares and spread them out 25-30 yards back...if u ask CHP officers if u can have some flares and tell them that u wanna be safe just in case u have car troubles .. they'll usually give u a couple if they got some.... .

Same thing happened to me a few years ago in my old car while I was stopped at a red light. Except it weren't no Beetle. It was a GMC van and the rear of my car folded like an accordian. It kept me and my bro safe though.
