Tire size on stock 09 rims?
Hi!
I am a new and very happy owner of a 09 ISF.... I used to own a 05 M5, but the ISF is superior in so many ways
The tires on my car are soon worn out and I am curious about what size can be used on the 09 rims? From what I´ve seen here 265/35 is no problem? What about 275/30, will that work too without any kind of adjustments?
What about the front tires? Is 235/35 the most reasonable upgrade?
From what I´ve seen a lot of ppl like the PS2 tires? Is it the general opinion that those tires are the best choice if u are not going to use the car on track, but like driving fast

Of course it is all a matter of preference but some of us went with 285 on the rears which is almost the same diameter as stock rears which in my personal opinion is a very good choice.

As DCoolBeans and rhy said, 245/275 is a common combo run by many F owners. I know a couple who run 285 on the rear on a stock 9" rim, and they have no complaints or worries about it.

No real issues I suppose but just my preference. Those sizes are the widest you can go recommended buy specs. I'd rather have those sizes on a rim that was .5 or 1" wider than stock so the tire wouldn't bulge and fill out the rim better. Better placement from tire to road
