Anybody know of an IS-F for sale without a sunroof?
Looking to buy a used IS-F, but can not fit in with the sunroof...
I now they exist and are EXTREMELY rare. Just checking if anyone has seen any for sale. I keep checking autotrader and cars.com.
Thanks.

Good luck, that's what I wanted. I think a few years ago someone from Hawaii ordered one without Sunroof and Navi.

I would do this to a track car in an instant, but I think it would be daunting to do this with the expectation it will look like OEM. There have been Supra guys who have removed the targa and replaced it with the hardtop components, but it's REALLY expensive. Glad I bought mine without the targa from jump.

It takes over 1" of headroom, so I phyically do not fit. It's either driving with my head tilted at 45 degrees, finding an IS-F with no sunroof, or keeping my BMW which has more headroom
Believe me, I wish I did fit with the sunroof.

I dont see this tipping 2 grand if you do it yourself. Quickie: Remove components, create carbon fiber mold of your roof, install this on top in a way to completely cover the roof and seal it. You would always have that cover that can open/close inside. Think of it as a new glovebox on top of you, lol.

All up about $3k for parts. Then you have to have them welded in and painted by someone competent. At least another $2k. If you don't do it this way, you'll still have to have the structure for the moonroof and that with the glass is the heavy part.
