Default Repaint and change color of my F?

I'm not much on the obsidian which is the current color of my F. I was thinking, why not just have the car painted to a different color? Like matador red or a custom color like a shade of yellow or orange. Can someone give me an idea of what it would cost to have my F repainted to a different color?

You're looking at $3-5k for a quality paint job.

I recently saw a brand new IS-F repainted to a Scion color....

It was amazing.. Window sticker sill on the car..

DO NOT repaint your car. You will be much better off by trading in and take the loss. let's say, you pay $5000 to have it repainted. If you sold your car in a few years, you would take another hit of several thousand dollars and maybe more. you are looking at a loss of ~ $10K easy, unless you are lucky enough to find a buyer with same taste and does not care about having a repainted car. Unless you plan to keep the car forever, repainting the car is not a good financial move.

If you're going to paint it, make it a custom or non Lexus color. I keep cars forever so resale value wouldn't matter to me.

I like the orange that Fox Marketing chose. I bet that resale value didn't take much of a hit...

it is faster and cheaper...but not cleaner. There is nothing clean about a wrapped car, it looks cheap. Nothing beats a shiny, just waxed paint job!

ps paint it starfire pearl....causes its the best color eva!

Much more than that if he is looking to match the quality of the OEM paint job. It is quite difficult, if not impossible, for the aftermarket to match the quality of the OEM paint. Proceed with care.

If you're going to re-paint your car, you should go with a custom color rather than another OEM IS-F color.

Just like everyone said seriously consider the fact that overnight your resale value will seriously diminish if you choose to go this route. Best of luck..
