Default 400+whp Tires!

Haven't dynoed yet, but with the combination of headers, exhaust and intake I should be looking at 400whp... So my question which tire/size will be able to handle such power without traction issue.. the stock PS2s arent doing the job anymore and are suffering throughout the first two gears.. any suggestions? I am thinking of either the NT01s/ Muchelin Cup/ or R888?

R888 would be good. Im using the Ventus Z214.
How nice is your weather? I daily drive on R Compound tires.. and I never lose traction.

If you have money, I would get the Advan A050 tires. They are the best tires around and are about ~600 USD each.

I'm (and many others) are running 275 with NO problems at stock ride height. Some are running 285 too.

You shouldn't have problems in second gear unless your making 550whp. A PS2 should be would fine your you.... If your doing 1st gear rolls, a properly sized R compound will do the job.

Speaking from my previous experience, R888 has softer sidewall than NT01 but a bit of more grip on track, no experience on Muchelin Cup, Porsche guys said it grips but a bit over price compared to the NT01.

I vote for NT01...

That makes sense. I always assume everyone drag or highway races until they say otherwise.
