Default Winter Wheel/Tire Opinions Needed

Hey all,

When I purchased my ISF this year, it came with a set of blizzaks the prior owner ran on the stock wheels for one winter. Now I do not want to run the stock wheels through winter, so here is my question. Should I look for a 19" stock wheel size to run these tires, or go with a 18" new setup of wheels and tires? From what I can tell, the costs of doing either are about the same. I ran 19" blizzaks on my M3 last winter, no issues whatsoever, but I was told a 18" would do better. Same deal for the ISF I would imagine. Anyway, what are your thoughts?

TIA

Kevin

I bought a separate cheaper set of 19'' wheels. Make sure you buy the light weight kind because, the tires coupled with heavy wheels, will make you REALLY HATE the ride of the car. I have sold my set since then and am buying a beater next month.
