****Update****

Well Paul got in contact with my installer possibly one bad sensor may have blown a fuse and caused all sensors to code. I will drop by my shop and check the heater fuse. If it continues Paul would send me a new conditioner thanks for the support PPE. I will keep everyone posted.
Thanks

****update #2****

I also noticed with the CEL my car only shifts down to 2nd gear. Any explanation of this phenomenon?

^^^^When you have a CEL that's what happens. It's been reported by others and it happened to me But, with the addition of the o2 conditioner all is well

That's what we thought initially in my situation, but $600 later, it was no go. Did they "test" the O2 sensors and verify they were bad beofore ordering the new ones??

How's the sound of the car during a cold startup? Does it get louder when you pair headers with exhaust?

Well I am finally back from the shop. Strangely enough I was getting CEL codes on my front drivers side o2 sensor after my tech checked the wiring and sensors apparently the front passenger sensor was faulty instead. After the tech placed the new sensor on the passenger side and a pair of new wiring cables the CEL was gone. Even my tech was bewildered. I did a couple of hard runs to let the headers run hot and no bad codes. I wanted to say thanks to Paul from PPE for his help and of course Gary and Lenworth from Speed Injected I highly recommend them. I am now working on getting a dyno and compare my numbers with other F owners. Happy Motoring

I'm very interested in putting headers on in the near future, but I apologize for the following stupid question to follow: What is and what happens when you get a CEL? Is it just a "check engine" light that comes on and that it? Or is there more too it?
Thanks in advance.

The CEL that most people get from a header installation is damage to the O2 sensors. Apparently they're not easy to remove. The Sikky headers come with a wideband O2... If the headers are installed correctly and the O2 sensors are working you shouldnt have any problems. Im gonna get the headers in the spring as well...

If you are unlucky enough to get a CEL it usually means that the car will not go in first gear and always starts off in second. The traction control light or VSC light will also usually be on, but I'm not sure if there function is disabled.
