I would say a lift is essential, not just nice. I work alot on my car and others and this was no small task even with the car on a lift.

Also, I know you will love every moment of the Joe-Z exhaust... the sound just can't be explained, but it IS loud and will drone on the highway. I resolved this issue by fabricating outlet pipes with the stock mufflers instead of Joe-Z... so far no regrets and the neighbors don't stair me down anymore for remote starting my car on a cold winter day, lol.
