Default Mirrors not tilting down

Hey guys, I noticed my mirrors stopped tilting down when I put the car in reverse. Is there something somewhere in the settings I might of hit?

Also, what size bulb are the mirror lights, it would cool to get something more vivid and bright in there.

The switch to adjust the mirror has to be either on the left or right and not centered.

Thank you, I wonder why that is. I can be slightly OCD, all of my vents need to be symmetrically aligned, as well as my clocks and mirror switches. LOL.

Maybe the center position on the switch is for when you want the movement turned off ?

This post is perfect timing. I had to replace my battery and thought it was associated to that but I may have my switch in the same middle position as my mirrors stopped tilting down as well. I will check it out. Funny how some of the simplest features are magnified when they don't work. They really help as I always back into the parking space at work and the tilting of the mirrors help line up with the lines perfectly. Being paranoid of a door ding, I want to make sure I am always centered in the space.

Thanks!!
