Really want to purchase an isf budget 35000 . All are mostly high mileage can I get a warranty if the car has over 50000 miles from a Lexus dealer or Toyota dealer .

I would not worry too much about extended warranties for Lexus. in my 20 + years of Toyota/ lexus/honda/acura ownership, i had never had a car that would have benefited from extended warranty. I don't track my cars, but i drive them very hard. Not to say extended warranties are never useful, but odds are you will never get your money's worth. If you pick your car carefully and take good care of it, chance of expensive repair is low.

I agree with the whole extended warranty bit. My '98 integra has 89k miles and is nothing short of reliable. My mother owns a 2000 Camry and the car has needed nothing other than regular maintenance, and a battery change at one point. Check the carfax and make sure all maintenance has been done.
Also register on http://owners.lexus.com ... there you can put in the VIN and see which dealer the car was serviced at, and the service performed - this is what I did before purchasing mine. Hope this helps.
