Traded my 08 ISF..so sad..
When i got my ISF more then 3 yrs ago, i had 0 kids, now i have 2...the car just sat in the garage most of the time becasue 1) i didnt want my kids to throw up in the car, as they do quite ofen..2) Two cars seats + wife and no place to sit the back for wife made it impossible for any long family drives..3)i work at a bank..and we share parking with court house i was always scared parking my car there (some guy punched the hood of my LX0 that promted me to get a DD prius but could not stand it) and door dings and etc but i still found time to drive it for work/grocery/fast fun drives...
Regardless i was heart borken when i left the car...it was special ..but after driving the LX most of the time i just wanted somthing larger more comfy for family..so i got a new loaded highlander..its not bad i figured in couple of yrs when the GSF/ISF comes out i will get that or the new m5s.maybe LS460.
The dealer gave me 39000 for it, First they offered me 32K..i told them thank you i would rather keep it.....had 33 k miles when i traded it in..

Sorry on having to give up the F, but having a family comes first. Their well being, safety, and the need for additional room are all top priority. The Highlander is pretty roomy, and gets pretty decent gas mileage. I know you'll miss the speed and power, but you won't have to worry about parking it anywhere- that's for sure!

I feel your pain. Just bought a 2011 Tahoe. And I'm selling my Isf. It sucks, but car seats in the F ae a nightmare. I'm a big guy, so my seat needs to be all the way back, resulting in kid feet all over the headrests and back of seat. Not to mention there's absolutely no room with 2 recaro seats.

Bought my IS-F having 3 young kids. Wife mostly carts them around in the Ody. Not having that middle seat in the back can be a pain. My youngest is in a booster now but I can't imagine putting a rear facing seat in the F. In the end I just bought a used 4Runner as a spare car & DD for kid duty.

i miss it alright...other day i saw a m3 and i wished i was in the isf..to take him..the highlander is a decent car, when i drive the Lx470 and switch back to highlander its seems like a toy...but its geared towards family..have nice storage options good in gas dvd etc but still no lexus..i have had enough RXs and currently have a lx, which my wife drives so didnt know what else to get..it seems to get the job done though..

I know how you feel, I've been car shopping and everytime I get back in my ISF I'm like "I'll never let you go!"
You got a great deal on the trade-in, $39k is way above average. I've visited about 5 dealers and the best I've been offered for my 08 ISF was $31.5k, the car is in perfect condition, just 53k miles on it.
