Used Joe-Z Exhaust install
I'm planning on putting on a used Joe-Z exhaust in a couple weeks and was curious if there is anything I should replace or will need during the install? MercuryISF suggested new gaskets (thanks). Anything else you guys can think of?
Thanks,
Tom

An O2 sensor removal tool would be a very good idea.... there's a picture on the first page of the install thread.

Thanks for the input. I ordered new gaskets and bolts from Sewell and an O2 removal tool from snap on. Sewell's website is addicting I have to stop going there before I'm broke.

When I did mine, I reused the OEM ones for the X-pipe to the cats. The gaskets they're talking about are the 4 that come with the Joe Z exhaust: 2 that connects the X-pipe to the mids and 2 that connects the mids with the muffler section. Hope you got the right O2 removal tool. It has to be a certain length to get on the sensor due to its placement. PM Joe Z and he can sell you the gaskets for $4 each plus shipping. He's the only source you can get these gaskets from.

^^ What he said..... LoL
Tom , if you can post a picture of the used gaskets & nuts/bolts... I can easily tell you if they are Reusable or Not.... ??
Bulls needed them, because he wasn't supplied with them when he purchased his used system..
Thanks

Joe-Z,
I wont have the used bolts in my hand until we get the car up on the lift the day it is being installed (28 JAN). To be on the safe side I would rather just go ahead and purchase them. Let me know how to go about buying them.
Cant wait to get the exhaust on!
Thank you,
Tom
