ISF full exhausts - Joe Z vs ISS vs Borla
#47
I have seen some negative results but have seen just as many gains as loses for each intake. For <$100 off SRP for basically a new intake it's worth a try. If the hp losses are minimal, even for the sound improvements it may be worth it. 5whp in either direction isn't noticeable after 300whp so if it sounds great, that's worth it to me.
If things actually seem to degrade performance significantly I'll just resell it and profit based on what I just paid. But I haven't seen any ISF intake provide anything significant (past ~5whp) so I don't see too much harm.

Thanks Kody & Gil for bringing me into this. Haha can't wait for my joe z exhaust to arrive at Carson toyota!! Called them today and it wasn't in. =(
A friend of mine had the K&N. You lose power on the low end, but it screams at the higher end. If that's what you're looking for by all means go for it.

For the price I paid for a near new K&N I'm more than willing to at least try it out for a bit. I don't mind heatsoak issues in the lower RPM if in the higher range it sings. Like a lot of F drivers, I'm either chillin or getting on it but not much in between.
