Hi guys,
I am pretty sure that I will be making the purchase within the next few months and I think I will be going with a 2011 or a 2012 due to the upgrades. I know the typical MSRP for these cars is a bit over $66k. But with that said, what is a realistic price that I could look to shoot for. Are the dealers willing to let the cars go for invoice? Or will I have a hard time getting close to even the $60k mark?
If you are wiling to share your purchase price and can PM me what you paid for it is you don't want to post here, that would be very helpful.
Thanks

I just got my 2011 on the 1st. I paid 59k for mine with 1k lexus loyalty and 750 rebate. bringing it to 57250. I just looked on auto trader and seen a lot of 2011 new IS-F's across the country. I would say to start emailing different dealers and visit your local ones and get some deals going. I wouldn't pay anything over invoice considering that we are mid way through the month of January and the longer these 11's sit on the lot the more they cost the dealer. use the power of the internet to get the best deal possible. I would not think twice about making the purchase from the other side of the country as long as the price is right.

As Kingkrs said, research online to see for deals. Also, if you belong with a credit union, they can be a good resource, as they can broaden your search in terms of the options you'd like on the car as well as offer good financing rates so you're not stuck with choosing the terms that the salesman presents you with. But considering the 2012 Fs are rolling into dealers' inventory, a new 2011 for less than invoice is highly realistic. The 2011 and 2012 are slightly different, in particular with the wheel design and width, so that might have a factor when deciding which one to go with. Best of luck, and hope you find your F soon!

Thanks for the info. I was not aware that there were any differences between the 11s and 12s. I guess I'll have to look at what those differences are a little closer. There is a USB (the only color that I will settle for) 11 sitting at a local dealer with 22 miles and Mark Levinson package for $59 right now. Not bad since that's their current asking price. But I am not sure if I should check out the 12s to see if I can get one for close to 60.
