I personally would not buy a car that has been modified. When I search for a car, I look for the ones that have had one owner, been garaged, non-smokers, and BONE stock... down to the rims. More likely that the car was babied more.
I would agree! The only problem is, a lot of people will put the car back to stock before they sell it! You really have to know what your looking for to determine if the car has ever been modified. Sometimes it's almost impossible to tell.
I've known people who have really modified a car, drove the **** out of it then put it back to "stock." Then sell it as "stock." A lot of times it's hard to spot engine mods once they are removed. In that case, I would rather buy it with the mods and know what I'm buying.
