Moving On
Some of you may have noticed I put my car up for sale in the classifieds section. After 2 + years of owning my car I have decided to sell it. I have a new job within my current company which requires me to relocate to the east cost and my car is not suited to daily driver duties there.
I have no plans to replace it with anything at the moment but it's been fun on here and I've learned a lot and hopefully contributed something to the forum.
The for sale thread is listed here, please feel free to pass it on to seriously interested people.

Why does moving east require getting rid of the F - is it a snow issue? Having lived for a few years in a place with absurd amounts of snow when I had my '08, I can personally vouch for the car's abilities in snow so long as it has capable snow tires.

+1 I also live on the east coast my F is DD, this second winter it's seen no major issues. So far it's been a very mild winters and has only snowed once and that was only 3". Just look at our neighbor to the north canada we have several clublexus members that drive there cars during the winter there. GL with new position and welcome to east coast what state are you heading to?

Hey thanks Kerry I saw that recently.
Thanks!
It's the mods plus all of the OEM parts and new tires etc. I think so but we'll see.
Hey Chris we still have time. Thanks!
Thank you very much.
Thanks!
I'll miss it too and thank you.
I grew up in NY, I visit Philly every month for work so I'm no stranger to snow or the eastern U.S.
As a matter of fact I'll be in flying into Newark, NJ on Sunday and heading to NY for the night/day and then going to Philly.
I have no desire to buy snow tires, raise the height of my car or fix all of the bent wheels I WILL get driving this particular car there. There are more factors here to consider than snow for me. As those of you who drive there can attest, the roads there have craters for pot holes that will make short work of my TOM's front lip and my wheels and tires.
Thanks guys on the best wishes and maybe I'll get to meet a few of you when I move to Philadelphia in a couple of months.
Thanks!

Well guys the car is in the new owners' hands. I still can't believe it took only 72 hours to sell it and I only listed it here.
I'll miss the IS F but I know it's in great hands.
Thanks again!
