Default 2011 Headlights Installed (w/pics)

I took some BS iPhone pics real quick while I was killing some time in between meetings. Here you go. The car is really dirty so ignore that if you can even notice that from the pics. The tail lights came out a little darker than I wanted but I'm fine with it. The plastidip'd rear emblems didn't turn out as good as I would have liked also but I'm going to give it another shot and if that doesn't go well, i'll just buck up for the black pearl kit from Sewell.

and on the rear tires, I had some beefy new 295/25/20 Hankook Ventus V12 Evos installed today:

Looks sick!!! I love what you have done to your F. Sometimes I wish I had wheels with a nice lip in the rear. Those rear 295's are beefy!

I'm not being partial because I have it, but those BP emblems from Sewell are the business! I love them. Down side...they are pricey lol

Yeah I don't like doing anything cheaply so after I have the nitrous/meth kit installed next week, I'll probably order the body colored grille surround and black pearl emblems from Sewell. I just hate spending all this money all at once.

Thanks for the kind words. Honestly that pic of the rear tires doesn't do it justice. The lighting was garbage today because of how overcast it is here.

What size front tires do you have? Also curious if you ever track or plan to track your car.

245/30/20 tires up front. Don't track the car, just quarter mile and I haven't even done that yet since our quarter mile track was closed last year.

Sikky headers too, it sounds beastly.

Looks good! I have been debating blacking out my front "L" , I think yours just helped me decide to do it.

Did you pay full price for the headlights? Or any tricks to get a deal??

No tricks. I was fortunate enough to find a member on here selling a 2011 headlight with the ballast already in it, then I had to buy one new, that wasn't cheap but all in all I spent much less than what Sewell wants for their kit. If you have the money, the sewell kit is the way to go. I tried to save a few duckets and pieced everything together separately.

It has been figured out. You pull out the gauge cluster, separate it and cover up the LED... or you do what I did, just cover it with a piece of black electrical tape and you don't even notice it. Maybe one day when my career, 2 year old daughter and Kardashian obsessed wife are wearing me thin, I'll take the cluster out and cover up the actual bulb but for now, it doesn't bother me one bit.

I haven't missed it one bit and I live in Missouri where we have lots of winding roads. Believe it or not, man survived just fine without AFS for years. LOL

FYI i'm glad the new headlights don't have AFS. The AFS motor made it impossible to remove the HID ballasts from the original headlights without separating them. The new headlights have no AFS and the ballast cord slips right in to the bulb socket area.

Sick clean F... One question... Your headlights before with AFS, did the lights shake over bumps? I thought this shake was due to the AFS...
Since the new ones don't have AFS, do u still have headlight shake?
