I really like the stock wheels! I get some compliments on the wheels once in a while. Wish they were wider though, maybe I'll do a wheel upgrade some day.

I use my factory wheels for tracking the car and have tires with better tread wear for the daily grind.

So after 20 posts...It seems like it is closer to half stock and half custom. I too, love the stock wheels but i understand being unique. I want to be seen when im driving around and the stock wheels always catch my eyes.

Stock wheels are great on all years of the car. BBS (Cold?) Forged Aluminum. Light, strong and OEM quality.

I prefer the design of the 08-09 wheels vs. the 10-11 wheels.

I love the looks of the stock wheels! I can't think of any cars that have better OEM wheels.

I also went with custom wheels (Vossen CV3's) because I want my F to be "different". At least that's what I tell my wife when I buy anything for my car haha. I really think it's because I'm a sucker for concave wheels or because I always have the mod bug lol.

I have gotten nothing but compliments about my Vossens. I always get asked, man where did you get your wheels from?? I have even gotten asked a few times if they the car came with them because they just looked like the car should have come with them and fit's the "look" of the car.

I also feel like a 20" wheel suits the car better as far as looks go.

I like the look of my stock rims and receive a lot complements on them especially from non IS-F owner several folks will even ask if they are factory rims or aftermarket. Just yesterday ran across white 2011 M3 and white 2011 1M asked if they could check out my F told them sure we chatted a bit and they both said they liked rims. Like most F owner wished they were wider and had different offset pushing the rims out a little further.

I certainly don't hate my 2008 stock wheels, I like 'em a lot. However, I wish they were a bit wider and had an uneven number of spokes. Right now, the only wheel that I would trade for is the new 2012 wheel. Still BBS OEM quality, a little better looking, and a bit wider.

I don't think anyone here "hates" the stock wheels. I think they are very nice for a stock wheel. But I've always been a wheel ***** with all my cars. And I think the F looks much more aggressive with a nice wide aftermarket wheel. The stock 255s rear look tiny on the car. But I would never sell my stock wheels.
