Hide The Plate
#31
I bought the non-motorized version of this. It served its purpose well. Plate was visible. Bumper wasn't marred with holes. My car is lowered and with my house having a steep driveway, the metal bracket (but not the front bumper) was scraping considerably. So I lost an additional half inch of ground clearance, and hearing every scraping sound was hard to deal with, even though it wasn't directly hurting the car. I still angle my car when entering/exiting, but that bracket was getting beat up way too much. I'm having it mounted to the bottom grille soon.

Some of the is250/350 guys have this, to avoid the scraping on the ground they cut a tiny section out of the lower air dam grill and mounted it behind that. Yes their is some cutting involved but the final product looks better and won't scrape
