What to look for when purchasing
Hi guys,
There is potential that I will be picking up a 2008 ISF within a week. I was curious, is there anything in particular that I should pay attention to? The car has around 30k miles on it if that helps.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

See if they have had the brakes replaced (significant cost), also make sure it has the ML sound system with Nav (the non nav dash is boring)
I agree on the excessive inner tire wear.

Check for mods, if there is any. Check your tire wear and brake pads and rotors spec. Also make sure there is no pink fluid like mention above. Make sure touch screen is working. Also check if the headlights have moisture in them and that the AFS is functioning. Check the service record by using the VIN#. Test drive the car and see if it is pulling to the right. If it is you need castor brackets. Try to get extended warranty if you can. I think that is all. lol

Thanks for all the advice! I'll be sure to check all the fluids, especially the muffler fluid. Someone said that has to be changed pretty often.
As far as all that's been mentioned, if there is excessive tire wear, is this an allignment issue or a more serious thing. Also, where exactly is the water pump located.
This is a lease car which was supposedly serviced by the dealer, so I would imagine there are no issues with mods.

Before pulling the trigger on any car, do a cold start up (left overnight w/o starting) and listen to the motor and check for exhaust smoke.
Inspect the vehicle on a lift. If the owner does not agree then walk away.
Look for VIN # stickers on all body panels and front/rear crash bar.
Check service history at your Lexus dealership.
If the F pulls to the right on hwy speeds do not buy it until it is fixed.
