Yeah guys, just Rang my man here in Sydney (JEM ) and he said the engine and ECU is way to hi tech , and that while others around the world have had a crack at it , no one seems to have sorted it out completely. !
So sadly we are still with out a way to advance timing etc.
I have something coming in the next week or so .. that should enable me to change the mixtures a bit. will check that out and go from there .

mapecu3 allows you to piggyback adjust timing and fuel. I've been running it on my is350 for about 8 months and theres another guy in Texas who has it running on his is-f. It also has mutlti stage nitrous activators, knock sensing, launch control ( for manual cars), electronic boost control. It has the works.
I have it in piggy back mode right now, but with an additional component, I'd be able to tune in open or closed loop modes.
It's completely possible and it doesnt cost an arm and a leg. I spent 1400 TOTAL, for the mapecu3, custom installation and a complete tuning session all afternoon. I am highly pleased with it.
www.mapecu.com is the place to check it out.

all these systems would work great but the question is who is willing to come up with a pnp harness so you dont have to cut into the factory wires.

What I should have done was buy the two separate harnesses I needed in order to make it plug and play.....instead I spliced into mine. It all looks factory unless you know what your're looking for, but I cant go back wards now without bandaging everything up.
If I'm not mistaken the pretune vs post tune was about 10whp. Nothing crazy. We didnt even try timing changes that night because it was already very late. Since then I've added 4 degrees from 4500 rpm to redline and it feels very strong. I need to go back and get another dyno done.
The real treat is going to be when its forced inducted. I think that's where this system will shine. It allows things like secondary injectors and all kinds of goodies.
username Pepos from Greece has been running this on his supercharged IS250 for some time now.
This is the installation in the engine bay. That braid of cable you see there going into the ecu area is obviously not stock.
The actual mapecu is mounted high on the firewall on the driver side above and to the left of the brake pedal.
The display/tuning is handled by this touchscreen Windows7 tablet that runs their windows only software. It is programmable on the fly and it allows me to take logs or just watch parameters as I cruise. I've also got a separate wideband hookup to ensure its reading correctly at both locations.
