still fixable, new ISx50 front clip along with F fenders and you're gravy for a fraction of the price.

Unless of course engine mounts sheared off the block.

That is quite unfortunate. The damage is pretty severe. It still serves as yet another example of what NOT to do on public roads. It just isn't worth it. Maybe it'll take something like this for some people to realize that their cars are worth value and pushing it to its limits just isn't worth it. I'm all for having fun and enjoying myself, but certainly the driver didn't anticipate something this horrific to happen to him

Sorry for the high jack

Thanks for moving the pics over.

Rock looks clean and no dirt in the road. I'm thinking that guardrail in the second pick looks like it was struck, or perhaps a head on? I would have expected to see more debris in the road, not stacked up infront of the car on the dirt.

Mulholland Drive (Highway) is in Los Angeles County, Southern California.

You've never punched it on a corner? Never ripped through gears down an empty street? We all have, but unfortunately these are the things that might happen while doing so.

One less F on the street which makes our cars just a bit more rarer j/k sux to see this

Unhappy

It was explained in the linked thread in post 1... This IS-F did indeed hit that LARGE rock...!!!

Unfortunately, cars are wrecked everyday... Just google salvage auction Lexus IS-F's.. You will find lots of them accross the US...

Just like any other wrecked car model out there...

This one was more than likely preventable, but very unfortunate to see either way....

Here is the location of that "infamous" turn - I've been there once before early morning weekends are the best time for car spotting.

I see so many videos of fast cars/bikes pushing it to the limit on this road.

Is "Mulholland Road" a race track?

If not, then I'm not going to lose any sleep with wreckless drivers getting killed on this road. I'm worried about the innocent driver (could be your mom, dad, sister, brother, friend coming home from work, school, dinner, etc) get killed by a wreckless driver.

If you want to race, please take it to the tracks - don't involve innocent people who doesn't care if your car has a jet engine.

Pushing the limits on this road doesn't look too reckless.. not sure what vids you were watching, but the curves are so tight, even the bikes are probably going close to the speed limit.

Unless youre on the road with Tanner:
