I would do $38k by Sun. For $37k I just drop it off and they cut me a check within 20 min. It's in excellent condition with new Michelin's and new rotors and pads.

Yes, I am interested in a car with a slightly bigger build. The new GS 350 looks aggressive, with super nice interior, and has some cool features. If we were not expecting kids in the next year I would have picked up a GT-R or 911, used of course. Am I crazy?
I recently paid $37k for my SFP 2008 ISF and my car is in probably a lot worst shape than yours is (75k miles!). The dealer also had 3 credit aps waiting on this car so I'm assuming you should be able to get $38k+ from a private party if you're patient enough.
They are giving you great price considering you are just selling it to them, have you tried your local lexus dealer to do a trade with GS350 F sport? if they come anywhere close to carmax number, you can save $$$ on taxes.
