Can you guys help me with the service history on this car? The history shows "default." Do you think that's a loan default? Does the price seem fair at 53K for 7k miles?

Doesn't seem too bad. I picked up a new 2011 for $4k more than that. I bet there's a bit of price wiggle room with negotiations too.

I looked at this car and was told by the dealer that it's supposedly flawless. But there were a few things that had me concerned. The biggest thin was the muddy trunk. Why in the world would you have mud in the trunk. Also, the shifter appears to matte rather than polished. So I don't know what's up with that.

I don't see a link to a CarFax report in the ad. Another bad sign unless you can get a CarFax report from the dealer.

Yeah that shift **** isn't stock unless they got new ones in 2011 that I didn't notice... Also, the mud, the person traded the F probably for a land rover which means he was an outdoorsy type switching to a land rover maybe...
