Cool IS-F motor jammed into Toyota Gt-86

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=FUPCwolLrsY

Looks like a custom intake manifold, and they removed the direct injection as well...

That's pretty cool. They must be using an engine management system as well.

Yeup getting it ready for the Drift Season in Japan...

I reported about this on my Facebook & Twitter over the weekend...

Kinda cool if they produce a real Toyota GT86 and/or Scion FR-S with our proven V8 IS-F Motors... .

My brother was just telling me about this over the weekend! I wish our cars came with a MT... there are some days I just want to clutch kick this car and pitch it sideways...especially on rainy days

This is so bad ***. Was at the Modified Magazine event last weekend and there was a 240 there with a 5.6 Titan motor in it. It was pretty *****in'.

Where is over here? Did that include single turbo what drivetrain? They may have asked that much because wiring and keeping all electronics intact is a pita. A lot of custom work would be needed motor mounts, trans mounts, driveshaft etc... a properly setup bpu 2jzgte in a 2IS should beat a IS-F if setup properly.

Anyway back on topic that's a bad azz 86 with the IS-F heart.

Honestly $10K for a turnkey 2jzgte in a 2IS is not bad. I'm assuming stock twins but that will still be a quick setup, faster than IS350 and close to or better than IS-F depends on driver.
