And here totally screwed up and tried to strip the paint using aircraft paint remover and it was the biggest mistake I've ever made. Inconstant condition and totally boned the primer. Never again.

Don't do what I did and just prep and paint the factory color. So pissed all the effort of removing the calipers and it turned out not perfect like I wanted. I'm sending them out for powder coat soon as possible

I sanded the clear coat off the calipers. Then to get them as ready as possible for the primer, I hit them thoroughly with brake cleaner then rubbed them down with some denatured alcohol to better hit the spots I didn't sand down well or at all. The 3 coats of primer and two of black definitely seemed to helped the burnt copper pop, but the clear coat is the MVP of the job, hands down.

Next time I paint my calipers, I will definitely take more time between colors. That was my biggest mistake and best lesson learned this go-round.

Can you show me some up close pictures of your installation? I'm re-doing my diffuser because there are gaps near the bottom when it curves. Also be sure to check if there are any pressure points because I didn't check before and now I have 3 paint chip because the actualy diffuser digs into the bumper.

I think I'm going to double up the tape where it curves so it sits flushed.

Tried going for some sunset pictures last night, but missed the perfect time by about 15-20 minutes. I also didn't like how the front shots turned out, something about the perspective of a 35mm lens makes the car look off. So instead, here's a rear shot.

235/40 & 265/35 PSS setup.

Those look great! I am wanting to do mine the same color. Did you remove the calipers from the vehicle (& thus have to bleed them all?) or did you just mask around them pretty well? I'd imagine you can do it either way, but they'd probably come out better if they are off the car. Anyway, yours sure turned out awesome.

Thanks! I didn't take them off. I just had the brake fluid flushed, so I didn't want to mess with the brake fluid again, so I just masked off extremely well. Took about 4 hours to mask. Took my time so I could get the most coverage possible without any over spray.
