I took my calipers off for paint, not worth it, added a **** ton of time dealing with the brake fluid and made a mess reinstalling the lines which ate some of the paint.
Also stripped them down with aircraft remover, again, huge mistake. Left an uneven surface finish where it didn't get all the paint off and I didn't have two weeks to sand perfect. All around learned my lesson. Will be powder coating from here on out. Definitely disappointed which is hilarious because I've painted past calipers in my driveway outside with a better result. Tried to go the extra mile and it backfired like crazy.
Swift springs took 2 some hours, brakes, consumed my whole f'ing long weekend.

Yay another member with an Arkym Diffuser instead of a Wald Diffuser. I approve!
Can you show me some up close pictures of your installation? I'm re-doing my diffuser because there are gaps near the bottom when it curves. Also be sure to check if there are any pressure points because I didn't check before and now I have 3 paint chip because the actualy diffuser digs into the bumper.
I think I'm going to double up the tape where it curves so it sits flushed.
I have similar gaps on the lower parts as you do. A few spots on the top. I bought the diffuser used, and it had been hit (I knew that). I did my best to repair the damage. I plan to fill the gaps with urethane.
Wheel specs? Any more shots of your ride with the bbs'?
19x9 +38 all around. Front: 245/35 Rear: 255/35. Recently added a 3mm spacer in the rear but may move up to 5. I went conservative because I don't want to do any fender trimming nor mods at this time.

Reason: Fixed
Finally got bit by the horsepower bug..... traded in my 2009 base model IS250 for this 2008 ISF with just 43700 miles. Double the horsepower with all the options, and I am loving it so far
Congrats! To be honest though, kinda wish you bought a SGM ISF so I could look forward to the pics after you detailed it lol.
Ha, I am looking forward to the easier maintenance of the silver
... but this car is still covered with swirl marks and scratches, so whenever I find time in my busy schedule it will be receiving a full paint correction and nano coating, and I will do my best to document it and share it in the detailing forum
