It's actually all vinyl. I didn't want it to chip over time.
Ended up just taking the lights apart and painting them. Fairly easy process and it looks stock. No excess glue, residue or leaks.
ohh sorry i wasnt clear on what i was asking. i was asking if your Grill surround was painted Black chrome. because in the picture it doesnt look OEM silver. which in my opinion looks better in black chrome then the oem color.

Thanks! This is an HDR image made up of 8 images blended together to retain as much detail as possible... a single exposure would have been heavily back lit resulting in a near silhouette of the car, or a very blown out sky.
