Just bought a house so grabbing a beater truck for a year, then I'll look at another F of some kind.

So much win. Please detail how you defeated all of the electrical components. Do you have more headroom now?

Still in the process on that. I got the resistors for the airbag plugs and waiting on a used weight sensor for the passenger side. Definitely more headroom, although, I'm 5'7" 160 lbs so not something I really noticed. Drove the car about 100 miles last night and these seats are surprisingly super comfortable. Definitely made for someone my size though.

When I bought my first house I sold my cool car for a while.... ended up being years before I got to replace it. Hopefully you have better fortune.

Im 5’8 and 165. I’d probably get a slightly bigger seat for drivers side. Not sure about passenger. My wife is 94 pounds, but my best friend is 6’2 and probably 300 pounds.
