Ahh makes sense. Now that I think about it, maybe it's also to do with directional strength of the wheel for heavy breaking while turning.

Went to the lakebed last weekend. Was the only fool out there driving a luxury car on a lakebed 😂. Everyone else was on lifted trucks and atvs haha
