Buffed out all the autocross cone scars. Detailed and cleaned and almost ready for winter storage.

Another addition to the IS-F today with this Wald style spoiler that turned up on DHL. Definitely makes the rear end more aggressive, especially when paired with the TOM's diffuser.

Only took 4-days from Taiwan and the colour match is perfect, which is no easy feat considering Matador Red is a 3-stage paint

Are those inserts in your rear logo? What a beauty.

Thank you! It's a 1-piece aftermarket emblem with a black backing. Here's a close-up photo:

Default Bolt on Wheel Spacers

Every now and then I see someone using bolt on wheel spacers, either because the wheel off set was wrong or the new wheels have the wrong bolt pattern. Do not use them.

I once saw them used on a pickup with camper. The spacer broke on the rear axle and several people died.

They are not safe and most sanctioning bodies won't allow them. If you need spacers, use longer studs, but still get approval from the wheel manufacturer. The studs should be a better grade of steel as well.

Please be safe with these powerful cars.

I appreciate your concern and I understand what you're saying, but with good quality spacers the chance of them breaking are slim to none. Can almost guarantee that the camper you saw had some cheap, cast, low grade aluminum spacers on it. It's like anything in life, you get what you pay for. I understand the risk and choose to run them. These are the ones I use on all 3 of our Lexus' and I took these photos before putting them on my IS-F:

Had 35% window tint put on the IS-F today. We have 20% on our two IS350s but after having the F for a year I guess I finally decided I've had enough of the fishbowl look 😅. Just in time for summer (yes, our seasons are backwards here) 🙃

Thank you! It does have a very basic ceramic coating on it, but in about a week's time it is going in for a full paint correction and graphene coating (5-year protection). Takes just over 3-days and costs a small fortune, but should look even more amazing when it comes back 😁. I absolutely hate swirls, especially on this color, and even though I'm super careful when it comes to washing (2 bucket method, snow foam etc) the swirls are inevitable, so I'm hoping once it's graphene coated I can simply snow foam, blast it off and dry it down with my leaf blower. No contact at all if possible. This car is no longer my daily so it shouldn't see any rain, which hopefully means I won't have to touch it with a wash mitt 🤞

My daily is the same color. The 3 stage paint really creates a gorgeous deep appearance, but also leaves the swirls floating almost above the paint. They are terribly obvious. It’s just my daily, so it sees the auto wash and looks bad up close. Such is life. If it didn’t see the salty winter roads, I’d care more… but I’d rather constantly wash salt off. Crappy paint is better than rusty metal.
