The 2IS chassis is very rust resistant. My Lexus tech buddy in central indiana said he never sees rust on them, which is impressive.

That said, I park mine in the winter. I’ve contemplated driving it year round, I just can’t seem to bring myself to do it.

The car gets pulled out maybe two or three times all winter and only on nice clear dry days. I also have the undercarriage sprayed at Krown (with no holes drilled), and the car get a very thorough wash down very early in the spring and throughout the summer. I bet my car is about as clean and rust free as anyone's. I am pretty good at keeping my cars rust free. Here are a couple of pics of my 1998 GS400 which was my daily driver until I sold it this past summer after 15 Ottawa winters. The undercarriage on this car was remarkably clean.

Dropped off my car at my buddy's shop. Valley plate leak and trans fluid drain and fill getting taken care of. Plus installing new oem engine mounts and starter.

btw, It looked like you are missing wheels decals. I have a ton of extra Advan GT decals.I ordered 6 sets but they sent 60 decals instead lol. My detail guy blast the crap out of my rims and always seems to manage to mess the decals up lol. PM me your address and I’ll send some your way for free.
