Thanks...accomplished in various ways as follows:
Front grill = painted grill and 3M grill surround
Windows = 3M
Exhaust tips = powder coated
Emblems = Black Pearl and shaved rear Lexus and IS

Yes...it went to the body shop as the front end needed paint and then as they inspected the car they found various parts (here and there...I guess as they got scratched or somehting as I am the 2nd owner) were painted but had been done with a solvent type paint so it was not adhereing to the clear coat the same as the rest fo the car...to fix just those spots would have made it still not right so they (Lexus certified Body Shop) gave me a good deal so I did it...like a brand new car now!!!
