The Group Buy price was ONLY $299 when we first launched them..

I drove mine for over 6 months with my full exhaust (oem manifolds in place) and never had an issue.
(Before we started selling them)

We only had major problems with a few sets of the CF Tips that were tracked/racing and running full exhausts, plus aftermarket headers..
Which causes the exhaust flow to reach their highest temps..!!

Since we couldn't control how the owners were using them.. We decided to STOP selling them immediately... To avoid any more issues.

I will revisit with our manufacturer one more time to see if a better solution is available, but don't hold your breathe..

The price is listed for $9,999 with ** CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE TO ORDER **

No one has placed an order for the $10k CF Tips... So it's working..

If anyone have a set of tips I will be happy to buy them at a good price. I will gamble that they will survive in cold Sweden

I melted a set... There not going to make them and even normal driving discolors them

Were u driving OEM exhaust and headers or aftermarket?

It really frustrates me now that I have black pearl emblems, black grille and black around the windows... The chrome tips ae just a total mismatch.

Btw when I wrote "good" price I meant good for the seller ;-) $400 offered (granted new or as new condition).

I guess you could pull the fake tips off and paint them with high temp poly, but I have read that is a total pain in the.....

True, but I would prefer not to do a "permanent" thing. All mods I´ve done so far are "reversible", I know lots of private buyers as well as car stores (at least in my country) pay more for "OEM" cars than modded ones. I love my F, but I know a day will come when I feel an urge to change

I have a full exhaust and although there are others; my F is one of the more heavily tracked F's on here. last year i was on a track for over 20 hours then im signed up for almost twice as many events this year.
