JoeZ stopped manufacturing them because of melting issues. Don´t know why they still list them.

I desperately want a working solution for the tips as well... Don´t want to paint so a non melting version of JoeZs tips would be perfect ;-)

I know a few handfuls of IS F owners who would love to have the CF exhaust tips. I believe lukeisf is right in that the complaint in a one of the threads was a melting issue, but only when the car was tracked. I don't believe these would have any effect under normal driving conditions, daily or not. They do look great, especially with other CF accents around the car.

I do not track my F and my passenger side tip melted a little bit. Even with the melted part, I love my CF tips and will never take them off.

at that price, I'd rather buy a part for my car thats functional rather than cosmetic.... but to each their own.

Lol that is not even close to what they sold for. They were a couple hundred if I remember correctly. The price tag of 10k I think is there way of saying they aren't for sale anymore.

There is a bunch of stuff on there site for 10k.
I think it's there way of saying it's unavailable or special order.
I don't get why they don't just remove the items and put "call" for special order items in the pricing box.

They aren't for sale anymore. I believe Joe Z is working on a solution because they melted during track runs.

Carbon comes in several allotropic forms, one of which is diamond. The $10K tips must be that form!

I guess if they melt to your tips, you don't have to worry about someone stealing them...
