i don't get why you say no toyota ecu has been cracked.
There are cracked ecu's for the supra's mk4 and mk3. There was the G-force ecu's and the Mines for the mk3 1jz and 7m.
They have been cracked it's just for some stupid reason everyone does piggy backs on them, instead of finding out how to actually break the new ones... It's a weird thing... All euro ecu's are cracked all domestics are cracked, but for the Jap's we all buy standalone ecus...

Evo, Sti, Honda and DSM guys don't all use standalones. There is Open Source, DSM Link, Hondata, ect. I wouldn't say all Jap. cars run standalones or piggybacks.
I'm no expert here but I would say all the Toyota ECUs you have mentioned are one generation earlier then Lobuxracer has commented on.

I say definitely post what mode you went with to achieve your gains and HP - Numbers are cool, but they are a lot more informative when showing what you did to get there!

I guess I'll be the one to say it. This thread has gone way off topic. There is another live thread about ECU tuning.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...cu-tuning.html
This is a fun thread about HP, it shouldn't become a debate about ECUs
