Default Salvage Title ISF. Buy it or keep looking

Hey CL

I keep finding a few ISF's that have Salvage titles that have been repaired.

I want ask the question to you all. And see if you would even look at one, or would you all keep looking?

Its been tough finding a White ISF for a solid deal. LOL

well how can anyone answer without pics and price? its very subjective .... whats a solid deal? if your looking to buy an ISF they just go for a certain amount if you dont have that amount then maybe consider another car like a standard IS250 or 350??

i personally would not consider a salvaged car but to each there own

Depends on the price, depends on your intention with the car, and depends on why it was salvaged (pics?). If you were going to keep the car for a while then salvage might not be so bad... if your only planning on driving it for a few years you have to keep in mind selling it again down the road. It can be very tough to resell a salvaged title car!

Stay far far away. If it was a Civic or Camry it'd be one thing.

Ditto. If you're paying cash and it's a beater that's one thing, but for 30k it's not worth it. Resale value on the car is gone.

Agreed. I'd also want to know who did the repairs and have invoices for the work. I'd want it to be a high quality shop with a long business history. I'd want the work to have some sort of warranty and make sure it is transferable.
