SIKKY Headers x2 ISFs and x2 States (LOTS of PICS)
#17
I felt the same way reading everyones threads
no this place was built from the ground up, PSI owns the whole business park.
Ill get more vids uploaded soon
I'm sure they know how to properly take off o2 sensors, both cars needed them so
ty sir
not sure
we had a pkg deal with install and headers + repeat customer discount. Please contact shop for install quote.
I actually have the Joe-z intake I don't think they can accidentally strip all 4 sensors? they were done on different days. psi contacted other shops and confirmed other isf's needed new sensors too.
thanks! your products made it happen
yes, esp if your 600 miles away from home and need to stay at a hotel

Results seem to be on par with what most others have gained and the car sounds and looks great!
Do you by chance though have the dyno charts showing SAE correction? I noticed in the videos that the dyno charts were "uncorrected".
Also what were the numbers for Obby with his catless Tanabe setup.

That shop looks amazing but it does seem odd that they managed to strip all four O2 sensors...
I've read on here several times that one/shops need to be careful when removing them and it's best to have the proper O2 sensor removal tool. My shop had some issues with my PPE header install related to melted wiring harness and blown fuse (their fault) but managed to not damage the O2 sensors (even though initially we thought damaged sensors were the problem causing CEL, so new ones were ordered and installed.... but that did not solve the problem) Many others have had headers installed and did NOT have to buy new O2 sensors..... just saying...
These sensors are not cheap (i think my shop charged 5 or $600 for the pair... that weren't even needed... ) but I'm sure Sewell or other places would be cheaper....
Glad you're happy with the final results though!

we were there and there was nothing that we could have done to save it. I myself attempted to pull one off and sure enough when i got it out, the thread was all stripped. Trust me, we try everything possible to prevent us from spending that extra $400+ for each car... Our only choose that i though it might work was to jam the o2 in a non fouler but there wasn’t enough clearance to squeeze it in.
Also a note for anybody that’s installing Sikky header, is to make sure you put on the o2 sensor first prior to mounting the header on because once the header is all bolted up you will have no clearance on the passenger side to slide the sensor in the hole.

Thanks. The shop does look pretty badass
yes, but im hoping for more!
Thanks cay, I don't have any charts but ill request them and post them up. Obby didn't get a chance to dyno since we were short on time. By the time the last o2 sensors were on the car we were ready to drive back to cali since we all had work the next day
You won't regret getting them sound and power is amazing
yup it does suck, but it has been documented and even said by SIKKY themselves says that you will probably need o2 sensors. The sensors were about 300ish for both but since we had to overnight them it was like an extra 70-90$
yep it sucks... it was unexpected for us and we ended up extending our stay for 2 days.
