came out looking like glass...but I'd rather pay my friend who's a professional detailer rather than spending 8 hours of my time. Either way though, you did a GREAT job and I bet it feels, looks and smells like a new car! Can't beat that feeling!

Yes, nice catch the F's cousin is the e92 M3. The F and M3 drive so differently, the M3;s ride is so much more liveable and it just absorbs the bumps with more grace compared to the F. Although I do have the 2008 suspension, and the 2011 ride may be more comparable to the M3. Anyways, the F is like a grown gentleman in a suit . And the M3 is like a younger guy in casual wear. Another way to compare is that the M3 revs and feels like a motorcycle compared to the F. Both great cars though. On a side note I do save a bit of money on gas with the F.

As for my front wheels, I know they are on the wrong side. The reason being is that my tires have a good 70% of meat left on one side and on the inner part it is almost 20%. So my dealer swapped them over for even wear. He honestly told me there is so much meat on them that he found for no reason to replace them.

Now for the real question, who;s going to help me detail the M3 now?

Looks great. I can tell that you deffinatley took your time and did it right. Black is by far the sexyest color when clean. However, it is a PITA to keep clean and scratch / ding free.

The F is a 2nd car so it sits in the garage most of the time, so it will stay like this for a good month as I detail it after I take it our with detail spray.

And the swissvax is applied by hand of course, this stuff is pricy so every drop counts.
When you say "by hand" I assume you mean that you literally massaged it into the paint with your bare hands, as opposed to using an applicator? I've seen that technique used by detailers of very high end cars. That is serious dedication!!

Concorso is fairly easy on and off as you don't use chunks of it applying it, although you wouldn't use chunks seeing as how much this stuff cost.

Yes I apply it using my hands massaging it between my hands as to melt the wax in the process by the heat of my hands then onto the paint. It is a very sensual experience, LOL.massaging
