Went back to the Ridge track this past Friday. Weather was horrible. Did have one video to share with you guys:
My 997.2 GT3 is officially gone as of last week.

That's pretty cool.
You are definitely making better use of the full track in comparison to the c4s. The R8 driver is getting tunnel vision and tracing the line of the C4S despite the fact he has a faster car. I've gotta say this one came down to driver experience, not our F's being able to keep up.

C4S driver - new track for him, but experienced driver
R8 V10 driver - experienced on track, veteran driver; I think he's looking at different angles when following C4S
Me - 3rd time on this track, run in top run groups in local events (2nd time tracking ISF ever)
Front Straight:
- ISF: just past 220km/hr (me)
- 997.2 GT3: past 245km/hr (me)
- 997.2 GT3 RS: past 250km/hr (friend)
- 997 GT2: past 270km/hr (friend)
Yes - sadly, the GT3 is officially gone as of last week. I drove the new owner of the GT3 around a few laps in the afternoon session. That was my worst mistake.
I have an agreed upon price with a 997.2 GT3 RS now. Seller just needs to tell me if he's ready to sell or not. I'll find out by tomorrow's end.

^ Thanks - it's addictive isn't it? Always lots to learn. Investing into a pro-coach is $ well spent when you feel like you've plateaued.
LBmtb - If you're going to track your car more often and need a set of StopTech brake pads (front & rear), send me a PM with your address. I ordered a set and just now realize my ISF will no longer see track time. I'll send them your way when I am down in the states next. Also, make sure the 2010 and 2011 ISF brakes are the same. I know nothing about ISFs.
Much easier to focus on lines and shifting without heal-toe and clutch. Here's a video of the new owner of my GT3 driving it for the first time on any track, ever (his last session):

More proof the most important part on the car is the nut behind the wheel. Nice driving!

Thanks Lobux! I need some pro-coaching to take it to the next level. Problem is finding a REAL pro around my area.
Sean - received unexpected good news,... good enough to make me give away my un-used StopTech brake pads!

^ sorry to hear. I lost my wallet at Costco in Bellingham and a Canadian picked it up for me and returned it to my place in downtown Vancouver with $600 USD in it and all my ID's. There are honest people in this world.
Good news -> heard back from the seller of the 997.2 GT3 RS. Looks like the ISF will take a long break from the track,... I thank CL members for pushing me and making me a believer in the F. It is a great car!

You're right, it is very addicting. I had my first track day last year here at Autobahn Country Club near Chicago.
Owning a high performance car is one thing, but using it to its limits at the track is another. It is just damn right addicting. WOTs on the highway straightaway don't count…lol.
What camera did you use, GoPro?.
