Mileage and Depreciation...
I commute maybe 40 miles a day... bought the car last october with 19k, it now has 33500 in just 7 months.
I do have other cars to drive but I always choose the ISF each morning, its a blast to commute in. Am I just killing the value of this thing? The car is meant to be driven, my goal is to drive it until 80k or so miles then resell.
There is a question in there somewhere.... haha.

I'm in a similar situation. Drive maybe 35 - 40 miles everyday. I'm just going to keep driving it. Part of the reason I chose the ISF was the solid reliability so I plan to (hopefully) keep it for 150k+ miles. At 7k now.

Since I bought my 08 F in May 2011 I've put approx. 8K miles on it, and the car has BARELY depreciated. It's negligible - I'm using cars.com as a comparison tool, I just look for 08 F's with the similar mileage and see the prices they're going for, and it's around the same I bought it for last year. The rarity of the ISF helps the car hold its value well. Even with your mileage I wouldn't be concerned, the car is meant to be driven and won't depreciate like a Maserati.

i drive a lot too and this is my only car currently... my work is 25 miles each way from my house but now i only go to work 4 days a week so im saving a little bit but then the other problem is the girl is 20 miles from my house too lol damn!!! my poor car

Drive it, enjoy it, don't stress it...
Any loss that you take when going to sell it will more than be made up for by the enjoyment of driving it during ownership.
My Yamaha R1 has 68,000 street/track miles on it (a lot for a bike). I know I'll never get back out of it what I've put into it financially, but it doesnt matter due to the all of the fun I've had on it.

Killing the value - no, but there will be a resale impact for sure. Just realize that and accept it. When you go to sell at 80k miles, if comparable cars have 40-50k miles, just expect to get $3000-4000 less. 100,000 is also a barrier which turns a lot of people off and narrows your market to sell into, so keep that in mind.
When I had my GT-R, I would drive it to work 1 day a week to keep the mileage down. My normal commute car, a G37 coupe, wasn't boring at least.

I bought my car September 15th, 2008 with 23 miles on the clock. As of today, Violet has 78,634 miles on her....3 years, 8 months. Average 1787 miles per month, 60 miles per day. Drive it...enjoy it. I'll be keeping my IS F for the rest of my life...she's paid off in a few months July 6th. Sending in my final payment on my birthday

There are few greater feelings than realizing you don't have that auto loan to pay off any longer.
