amgone75 there are other members that have painted thier tips black. Looks really good. If you want to keep the polished look the Mothers Stainless Polish and a small power ball will polish that right up!

I can see the pics... not to sound mean, but the tips look horrible. I would definitely contact the manufacturer and see what they will do about it. I am big on customer service/satisfaction, hopefully your situation gets resolved so you don't feel like you "wasted" $400. I had an Injen Ti exhaust for 6 years @ 196,000 miles on my G35 when I traded it in and the burnt tips still looked awesome! I really want the burnt tips on my F to match the F badge, but with your experience I don't know if I will do so. Let us know what ends up happening.

DcoolBeans is correct. I have a real titanium catback on my RX-7 and the burnt tip never fades or gets dull. SS tips will dull like that over time.

RX7 Rage I have real Titanium Tips from Greddy on my Evo and they faded relatively quick. Did you do anything to maintain them. I would love to make them look new again. I almost bought a Ti exhaust for my FD but decided not to because of the experience in with the Evo Exhaust. Also I don't race the car so I don't really need the weight savings

No need to worry about this. The manufacture has been responding since the beginning.

Hey VJ, I have the JIC full titanium catback on the FD. It's been on the car the past 6 years and I never polish or maintain the tip to keep it shining.

It's Janoy BTW... hahahah

Dude I guess my Greddy one is not good quality TI then. From blowing fire out of the tail pipe the tips look worst then the pictures up top.

Yes we were charging $300 for the burnt tips. Its a pain in the a - - to get them to look good and sometimes can take a full day of messing with them to make them work. So anyways Burnt tip Option has been discontinued until we find a better way of doing them.

If anyone has an idea that can work please PM me. I would really like to offer it as an option.

Janoy
