10 year gs clublexus member buying 08 ISF
I used to frequent clublexus daily back in 00 when modifying my 98 lexus gs400 and on the verge of buying an 08 ISF with 33k miles. The car has some minor curb rash that I know I won't be able to live with and it's a bit confusing what the standard OEM wheel color is for the 08 isf. I believe their hyper black but I've read hyper silver. I'm considering looking to purchase a used OEM wheels online and want to make sure I buy the right one. I read here that the dealer carries wheel touch up paint for OEM Isf wheels but know luck when I spoke to them earlier.
here's my autotrader ad if you know anyone that looking:

good luck on getting the F! you'll love it!
as far as the wheel paint color it is VERY difficult to get touch up paint that matches... there are a couple of threads on this somewhere on here...
You'll commonly see that Phantom Grey (a scion color) color code 1E3 is the color of our wheels and this is what sewell lexus carries as their touchup paint... however it is too light IMHO... (as well as others)
You'll also see the color code 11GY39 mentioned, but when I gave that code to the wheel repair guy (when I had some wheels repainted) he didn't know what that meant... ? not sure if it's a japanese only code or something... anyway... Good luck! and if you find the answer let us know!!!

Loved the F. Cleanest one I've looked at and should have deal finalized tomorrow. Couldn't be happier. The previous owner babied the car, no mods and not one ding or scratch on it. It always a bonus buying from a a private party so you have a history of how the car was treated!
Does the 08 ISF come XM ready? I have a life time XM contract in my GS I'm hoping to transfer over. If it's sirius I'm out of luck

Proud new owner of an 08 lexus ISF.. Very happy and loved the private seller.. I got tons of insight regarding the car's history I never could of had if purchased from a dealer. I did learn that the car does not have the xm module so will begin my research on that one. I have a life time subscription in my GS that I will have to transfer over and looks like I'll need new tires pretty soon. I know there's many threads regarding tires and XM that I will be tackleing but any insight is always appreciated.

Congrats! let's see some pics! sorry I can't help you on the XM stuff, but as for tires lots of people upwidth for better performance and have had good luck/reviews of Michelin PSS's in 245/35/19 Front and 275/30/19 Rear and in some tires like the Conti DW's (although still on national backorder I belive) 285/30/19 fit the OEM wheels and no fender mods are needed.
