Default headers vs nos

I have an srt intake.....should I do PPE headers and a joe z exhaust
or do a 75 or 100 shot of nos?

what are the pros and cons of both???

08 red IS-F
tint, srt intake, hid fogs, calibre K-40 radar

The conversion sacrifices the AFS. No biggie on my end as I don't do night time canyon runs. For normal night driving I don't miss the AFS at all.

I'd go bolt ons first. With that being said if you're not satisfied after, nos is still an option. I have sikky,
issforged, and takeda and its great power for everyday driving. I am going the nitrous route though

It's the cleanest/best way to do it, but you don't have to...

You can mask and tape the rotors and brake lines with tape/masking paper and then use plastic sheeting to mask/cover any areas of the car exposed to overspray.

or...you can use the brush on caliper paint which gives really mixed results. It looks like crap IMO. The most important thing is how well the calipers are prepped so you need to get all of the caked on brake dust cleaned thoroughly before painting.

I'd start by removing that SRT intake and going back to the stock air box. I guess you're too new to know the problems with that intake, search for posts around 2008.

One has the added power all the time and the other one doesn't. These 2 are totally different routes to go with as a power adders.
If you like power I'd say do both

You will lose the afs feature with the new headlights. You will also get a afs light on your dash which people put some black tape over it

I would do the bolt-ons first that you have constant all the time power then go to the nitrous. That is my plans with a 100 shot. As for the caliper paint I used the G-2 caliper paint on my IS 300 and it went on great. As stated before, prep is the important thing. My 12 IS-F has painted calipers with the word lexus on it. Is that not on the other model years?

my calipers are black and say lexus on them. I want to paint them blue like the ones you would get with the f sport brake package.

what's wrong with the SRT intake. I haven't had a problem with it and it sounds great...I checked the old posts it just seems like people didn't hook them up correctly. what problems are you talking about?
